All slates are flat, double-pressed fiber cement slabs, composed of portland cement, high quality organic fibers, mineral additives and water.
The front and sides of the Fibre Cement Roofing Slate Ballymore are finished with an acrylic-based multi-layer coating, which strongly inhibits the growth of moss. The underside of the slates is treated with a monolayer coating and a layer of colorless water-repellent resin. This finish offers optimal protection in all weathers.
