The Process

The water-resistant solar reflective coating is applied to a 5-degree pitch (flat) roof, prior to installing the standard roofing membrane. Providing protection against solar degradation and heat gain. It is suitable for use over bituminous coatings, aged asphalt and primed steel. It is a superior alternative to chipings when applied in a two coat application. Brilliantly, reduces heat build up and gives a reflective finish to bituminous coatings and primed steel.

Also suitable for the refurbishment of aged steel roofs.

Solar Reflective Paint

Choose from a range of sun-reflective roof coverings.
Promain offers a selection of high-quality sun-reflective paints for tile and flat roofs in white, aluminum, and silver finishes. The coatings reflect sunlight away from flat roofs and protect the surface from heat or UV damage. Once dry, the sun-reflective paint reduces heat buildup in rooms and areas below, protecting against high temperatures in sun-exposed areas.

Sun-reflective roof paint can also extend the life of roofing felt by reducing the surface temperature. This means the asphalt is less likely to shift and, therefore, less likely to be damaged.
